Serena MacLeod,
Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist (UK), Mental performance consultant (canada)

Serena MacLeod (CPsychol, HCPC, MSc, BSc, DipSW) is an HCPC registered, Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist (UK) and Mental Performance Consultant (Canada) located in Toronto, Canada. She is also a professional member of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association. Currently she works remotely in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, Australia and United Arab Emirates.

Growing up in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Serena played soccer at an elite level as an adolescent. When she moved to London, England at age 23 to pursue her career in sport psychology, she played soccer for her Universities 1st team at University of Roehampton. She was also the Manager of her Universities 2nd team. Serena’s experience playing soccer at a high level contributed to her wanting to pursue a career in sport psychology and help other athletes improve their performance and well-being.

Currently, Serena is providing her expertise to organisations including Manchester City (Esports), Imperial College London, Optimise Potential and her own consultancy, Cognitive Performance. Previously she worked for Reading FC, UK Athletics, NBA, Swim England and Oxford University.

Serena provides specialist psychological support to individuals (including business executives and CEOs), teams, coaches, groups and organisations via one on one consultations, both remotely and in person. She is also a specialist in providing educational workshops to teams and organisations. Serena has experience providing support to individuals of all ages ranging from age 7-54. She is passionate about providing support to athletes, performers, coaches, teams and individuals engaging in exercise, enhancing and maintaining their performance levels and psychological well-being.

Her experience includes working in various sport and exercise settings with athletes of all abilities. Clients include professionals within football (soccer), rugby, ice hockey, esports (FIFA, Fortnite, League of Legends), swimming, fencing, gymnastics, weightlifting, MMA, BMX, field hockey, trap shooting, endurance athletics (triathletes, marathon runners, etc), wheelchair tennis, cycling, wheelchair racing, rehabilitative exercise programs and inclusive physical activity programs.
